Eureka!

Our new marina
Our first visited port is Humbolt Bay in Eureka, CA. Dad and I are both pleasantly suprised by the clean, afffordable, and all around nice public marina. I especially like that the showers are free, our quater stash was looking pretty bleak.

We have taken advantage of the quaint "Historic Downtown" that is only a couple blocks away, where we've had dinner at a variety of different restaurants and continue to find new and exciting activies to participate in...including exploring the local tattoo parlors. That being said, a picture says a thousand words - and yes, it's real.

We are waiting in Eureka for the weather to improve, hopefully we will be setting sail again by Monday (9/20). As for now, it's great to be living the life of a cruiser.
